MIBFF has become today\u2019s largest black film festival in Canada. It is a dynamic, bold and innovative festival that fosters the development of the independent film industry and which offers a new and refreshing look on a growing, rich and original film industry.<\/span><\/p>\n Are you a graphic designer, artist, illustrator, poster designer or photographer who loves film and diversity? Participants under the age of 18 must have parental consent to participate in the contest.<\/span><\/p>\n Article 3: Length of contest <\/b>The contest is open from Mars 20 to May 15th. Proposals must be received by the MIBFF by <\/span>May 31st.<\/b><\/p>\n Article 4: Technical criteria<\/b> The winning poster will be featured in all of the MIBFF\u2019s communications and publicity (in French and English). The participant must also certify that the poster does not affect any third-party rights and does not violate copyright, directly or indirectly. The winner commits to giving their complete copyright to the Montreal International Black Film Festival. The winning poster will become the exclusive property of the Montreal International Black Film Festival, who reserves the right to use, modify, adapt and exhibit the poster in the present and in the future, sell it as by-product of the Festival or for the purpose of the Festival; and reproduce the poster in any medium, without any given time limit and in such a way that the use grants the winner or his\/her family no rights other than the award.<\/span><\/p>\n Article 7: Finalist selection criteria <\/b>Each poster will be examined according to the following criteria: a) the representation of the values of the Montreal International Black Film Festival \u2013 MIBFF, b) visual quality (graphic design, colour, font), c) the ability to modify it according to the medium used for its presentation, d) the originality of its design, e) readability, and f) simplicity. The MIBFF reserves the right to call upon the public or not, particularly via social networks, to vote for the winner.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
