\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n www.BeingBlackInCanada.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n (Toronto, March 30, 2021) – BEING BLACK IN TORONTO<\/strong>, part of Fabienne Colas Foundation’s BEING BLACK IN CANADA<\/strong> Program\u00a0\u2013\u00a0presented by\u00a0Netflix<\/strong>, in collaboration with\u00a0the\u00a0National Bank<\/strong>,\u00a0and\u00a0supported\u00a0by\u00a0Telefilm Canada,<\/strong>\u00a0Canada Media Fund\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<\/strong>the\u00a0Canada Council for the Arts<\/strong> – is nominated for BEST DIRECTION IN A DOCUMENTARY SERIES<\/strong> at the Canadian Screen Awards (CSA). BEING BLACK IN TORONTO aired on CBC and is still available for streaming on CBC GEM<\/a>. The CSA will be taking place May 17- 21, 2021.<\/p>\n The BEING BLACK IN TORONTO<\/strong> emerging filmmakers addressed the issue of social integration of people from Black communities in their city through film.
