The mission of the Montreal International Black Film Festival is to stimulate the development of the independent film industry and to foster the creation of more films on international black realities. The festival wants to promote a different kind of cinema: cinema that hails both from here and abroad, that is not always on the silver screen. We showcase ground-breaking cinema that moves us, raises awareness and takes us by surprise. MIBFF films deal with issues and raises questions that provoke us, make us smile, leave us perplexed and shock us. Join us for a fresh look at black cinema from all four corners of the globe!

Complete program: www.montrealblackfilm.com

Contact : Carole Villemonteix
Project Coordinator
Fondation Fabienne Colas
coord@fodnationfabiennecolas.org
514-288-3888 ext. 332

Screening of the comedy CASE DÉPART (Back to square one) Directed by Lionel Steketee, Fabrice Eboué and Thomas N’Gijol August 12, 2014 | 9 p.m. | Place de la Paix, Quartier des spectacles Montreal, June 16, 2014 – For its 10th edition, the Montreal International Black Film Festival, created by the Fabienne Colas Foundation and […]

[7

post-431","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-press-releases
["GET
