Narrative feature films

Anik Martern 


Anik Martern is a multi-talented actress who plays for a number of films and television projects in Montreal. Founder of the Dynamic Theater Factory, in 2010 she was awarded the Actra Community Builder Award, a prestigious award recognizing her outstanding contribution to the industry. She was featured on stage in Underdogs </ em> (Just for Laughs Festival), alongside Isabelle Blais in The High Cost of Living </ em>. & Nbsp; she played leading roles in Space and Cases and in Sherwood CBC.

Mark Krupa

A renowned producer, writer, actor and director, Mark Krupa has worked for television and film, in both French and English. As a producer, his feature film Infernal Hunt </ em> was crowned Best Canadian Feature Film at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival and won Best Film at the 2010 Slamdance Festival , As well as his latest short films, Blue Violin </ em>, In Faustian Fashion </ em> and Exodus </ em>, were all presented at the Fantasia Festival in Montreal. Mark Krupa has recently directed and co-produced a film about the topic of intergenerational trauma. You Arrive </ em> / Arrive </ em> He is currently working on three new projects: Echelon </ em>, The Extractor </ em> and Vinland </ em>.

Randy Thomas

Randy currently has two television roles, one in CBS’s Incorporated </ em>, and the other in 21 Thunder </ em> at CBC. One of the highlights of the summer was his collaboration on the last film of the Palme d’Or winner in Cannes Xavier Dolan, Death and Life of John F. Donovan </ em>. Originally from Moncton, New Brunswick, Randy Thomas began his career in Montreal. Since then, he has toured with various theater groups in the South of France and in the United States, as well as amassing more than 40 credits in film and television.

Paul Carvalho

Paul Carvalho is the producer, screenwriter and director of a five-hour documentary series on the history of Montreal, broadcast on Radio-Canada, to celebrate the 375th anniversary of the founding of the city. After working as a journalist on Radio-Canada for 20 years, Paul Carvalho became an independent filmmaker, author of the biographies of an Olympic champion, a premier of Quebec and two great Canadian artists. His films have been broadcast on five continents by TV5MONDE, and in the United States by PBS member stations.

Duke Eatmon

Duke Eatmon & nbsp; comes from a family of accomplished musicians. He is currently collaborating with Chuck D on a book about the history of hiphop and has hosted several radio programs of various musical genres at stations such as CJAD, CKUT and K103FM, to name a few. In addition to being a facilitator, he was also the Program Director at & nbsp; K103FM. Eatmon & co-lead Soul Call & nbsp; from CH with Peter Anthony Holder. He is currently the musical columnist for Homerun on CBC Montreal and Breakaway on CBC Radio One throughout Quebec. In March 2017, Eatmon received the Anglophone Radio Personality of the Year at the Gala Dynastie.



Santiago Bertonlini

Santiago Bertolino was largely trained in the fire of the action while following a technical education over several years. An advocate of a documentary cinema that questions the images produced by the mass media, it soon enters into projects with a political connotation. Paul Shore

Paul Shore is a Montreal social entrepreneur and filmmaker. After working at CNN and MTV for short periods of time, Paul was head of Canada’s office for the channel Guerrilla News Network for five years. He subsequently co-founded the not-for-profit organization Apathy Is Boring . Recently, he produced, directed and hosted the local television / transmedia program The Street Speaks to the poster for two seasons on MaTV . He is currently developing experiences of augmented reality. Paul is a Jeanne Sauvé Scholar and serves on the board of directors of the Scapegoat Carnivale Theater and the Coop la Maison Verte . ( )

Natalie Tannous

Since graduating from Dawson College in 1996, Natalie has been working on stage and on-screen in French and English. She has, among other things, held roles in Subito texto , Jenny , > 19-2 , The Truth , Unit 9 , The list , In Sickness , Coming Out, and Sex & Ethnicity. Since then, Natalie has also become a writer and director. She trained with Léa Pool and Robert Favreau. She has written, directed and produced two short films: Last Goodbye & Prayer – and is working on her first feature film ; Queen of Denial .

Tania Arana

Tania Arana began acting as an actress in the cinema, following training sessions at the main theater schools in Paris and then in Montreal. In parallel to her artistic career, she began to make a name for herself as a casting director by signing the distribution of several award-winning films, including Maman (s) of Maïmouna Doucouré: winner of Sundance and César of the best short -metering. She now exerts her talents between France and Quebec in the cinema and the web-series. She is also an important part of the Kino movement in her capacity as Project Coordinator.

Tamara Brown

Tamara Brown is an actress, singer, director and poet from Montreal with a passion for storytelling, “geekerie” and social justice. Co-founder of the Metachroma Theater, she traveled the country with theater companies such as Black Theater Workshop, National Arts Center, Soulpepper and Theater Calgary. Also to his credit: several movies and television series including Helix, Quantico, The Art of More, The Life, 19-2, The Bold Type, Full Love, The Game, Real Detective, Gothica, LARPs: The Webseries, video games for Ubisoft and Eidos. His productions have been presented in Toronto, Winnipeg, New York, Stratford and Montreal.

Chimweme Miller

Chimweme Miller is a Montreal comedian. His career at the theater led him to work for companies such as the Black Theater Workshop, Talisman and Back Scene. On the big and small screens, we saw him among others to Radio-Canada, EuropaCorp, Paramount Pictures and Sony Pictures Television. He also lends his voice to video games and cartoons, and makes narration. He has worked as an actor, musician and storyteller here and elsewhere in the world. It is an honor for him to participate as a jury member at the Montreal International Black Film Festival.
