Black North Quebec Summit

Thursday, September 30 at 2:00 pm | BlackNorth Initiative – Quebec Summit – Online

The BlackNorth Initiative was created by Wes Hall, Founder and Chairman of The Canadian Council of Business Leaders Against Anti-Black Systemic Racism and the BlackNorth Initiative. Through this initiative, companies in Canada and Quebec commit to implementing strategies aimed at removing the barriers negatively affecting the lives of Black Canadians and Quebecers. To date, more than 300 CEOs of some of the largest companies in Canada and Quebec have signed the Pledge, including 30% of TSX 60 companies.

Following the success of the July 20 Toronto Summit, which attracted more than 3,000 participants, Quebec’s first virtual Summit, which will be held mostly in French, will take place on September 30. Co-chaired by Wes Hall and Isabelle Adjahi, Quebec-based Senior investor relations and communications executive, the event will feature incredible speakers, exclusive discussions and more. The event will be co-hosted by Fabienne Colas, actress, director, President-Founder of the Montreal, Toronto and Halifax Black Film Festivals and Déborah Cherenfant, President of the Junior Chamber of commerce of Montreal.
