Kanaval is told through the eyes and the innocent perception of a 9-year-old child. It is from his perception that we discover the world around him. His interpretation of reality is strongly coloured by his wild imagination. Beyond the geographical changes that he experiences during his flight, it’s the creativity that he puts into the interpretation of the world around him that will allow the spectator to identify with this endearing character.

The screening will be followed by a 60-minute discussion in the presence of director Henri Pardo.
