BLESSED BY SUNLIGHT

By Sebastian Krolak

Jua, a young carefree Tanzanian girl with albinism, spends time playing soccer, reading books, and helping her family on the farm. She likes to stand out from the crowd – with red glasses and red dress, she describes her sight of life with a pinch of irony. Jua’s loving father tries to protect her from any danger, but in the case of such an unruly girl like Jua, it is almost impossible. Her cousins, Akida and Adil are on the road seeking help for their ailing sister. The story takes a dramatic turn when Jua's home is targeted by desperate men led by dangerous superstitions.
