THE RED BALL

Bamike, a Black British teenager, has been forced to relocate from Brixton to Essex following the murder of his older brother Femi. His mum and dad deal with their grief by leaving the scene of the pain. However, Bamike’s seemingly apathetic attitude has created a cycle of animosity - causing the family dynamic to become fragile, so much so that Bamike has created a fantasy in his head to indirectly confront the grief.
