Lakay Nou follows a couple stuck between two generations. On the one hand, that of their three children aged 10 to 20, born in Quebec and pure fruits of the culture here more than that of their ancestors. And on the other, that of their parents, born in Haiti, attached to their roots and the more traditional expectations of their generation. They are omnipresent in their lives, especially Henri's parents who live right next to them. However, at the dawn of their forties, Myrlande and Henri finally dare to chart their own path by seizing new opportunities that present themselves. This personal and professional development will not be without impacts on the clan woven a little too tightly, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, but always to make us laugh (with them).
